The Mr Zito Story
Frank and Buddy is a painting by Bob Dylan and Mr Zito is the focus. The painting depicts the scene of a New York City barber shop and a sign reading "Frank's Barber Shop."
Above it is a bakery where its owner, Charlie Zito, was known to deliver bread to celebrities like Sinatra, Dylan and Patti Smith and he was so on on first name basis. Charlie worked in the storefront, and was the public face of the bakery. The bakery was well known for their delicious crusty wheat bread.
MENU
Our brioche is from a local London bakery in East Dulwich.
Our duck is sourced through Londoner Duck, selected for its consistently tender, lean meat and rich flavour. Importantly, it is 100% Halal and produced without the addition of antibiotics or hormones — giving us a quality ingredient we're proud to put inside our brioche sandwiches.
Our raclette comes from Jumi London, a Swiss cheesemaker known for traditional, artisan cheeses with real character. Rich, creamy and beautifully melty, their raclette brings that unmistakable Alpine comfort to our filled brioche sandwiches.
Our black pudding is made to order by Paton and Ross and our chocolate flakes are made by Callebaut.
We change our menu seasonally so at the moment we're focused on autumn and winter.
